Our operating principle of Partners, not Clients, shifts the working relationship between our coach and your team from one where two groups of people try to solve a problem each on their own, and go about it from two disconnected angles. I.E., you explain the issues you are facing to us, and we use our knowledge to find the right solution, we presented it to you and your team, so you can find a way to make it fit with your existing work plan. To one where the two groups work as one.
Where finding solutions to any problem is a matter of considering all sides of the issue. I.E. We collaborate closely to understand the problem from outside and inside perspectives. We ensure complete visibility to all the moving part, including work in progress, what works well and what does not, and any future challenges we may face, we develop a solution that is created around what your day-to-day work look like. and we collaborate in implementing the solution.

Why:

Having an inside man

No matter how much expertise you have on a specific subject it is not a valid substitute for some first-hand knowledge of the problem you are solving. Consulting often tries to fix this by extracting as much information, as possible at the start of the process and coming back for some if needed but does not usually work, since the disconnect between the information they receive and the plan developed is often too great. Our collaborative approach will ensure that we always have access to the information we need and that solution we come out with is tested before it leaves the workgroup.

Cognitive diversity

Bringing an outside perspective to an inside problem will often shine a light on some aspects of the issue the team is not were not away of, and bringing an inside perspective to an outside solution will make sure that all aspects of the problem are considered and the solutions with the team constraints.
This approach inside/outside perspective synergy fosters cognitive diversity and lateral thinking and helps solve even the thought of the problem.

Built-in implementation buy In

Even the greatness of a plan and strategies can be derailed if the implementation is not a part of what is needed. This implementation always falls on the team doing the job. Making sure the team in a part of coming out with the plan not only ensures that the plan is formulated and in a way that can then be implemented possibly by also make sure that the team is aware of the work beforehand, and agree with what to do and how to do it.

A sense of ownership

The goal of management is getting out of the way and letting people do their job, for that people should be self-managed.
A well-defined process can be owned and followed by individuals and teams to ensure that success, and here being a part of developing this plan goes a long way in making sure the team can develop this sense of ownership.

How:

Working with our client as a partner until a certain level of Intellectual humility, since as partners we should start from the same place and get to the same result, we do not assume any prior knowledge before we start working with your team. This does not mean that we bring nothing to the table since, as experts, we do have a set of skills that we developed during years of working with companies facing the same problem. But we do understand that each team’s situation is unique and usually need tailor-made solution to their special condition, what works for other may not work with and work for you may not work for others, and even if it does, it will often require a lot of automation to make sur
